General Rental Information

The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license.
Driving license printed with non Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an International driving license. For
driving licenses from countries not part of theGeneva/ Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g. China), an official translation of the license in
English must be presented with the original license.

A booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability) in return for an alteration charge of 20.00 EUR. Any
payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this alteration leads to a lesser
rental cost. Cancellation

A booking can be cancelled before the rental begins. In the event of cancellation, the payment in advance already made towards the rental shall
be paid back subject to a cancellation charge, which will be withheld and shall be in the amount of the rental charge ( including any extras and
charges) for a maximum of 3 rental days. Cancellations can be made online or in writing and must be addressed to:

Noshow
In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.
Age Restrictions
Minimum age in Bulgaria is 20 years.
In Bulgaria, the following rules apply for the minimum age and possession of a driver's license:
20 years old/1 year for vehicles in group MCMR, MBMR.
21 years old/1 year for vehicles in groups ECMR, EDMR, EDAR, CCCC, CDMR, CDAR, CLMR, CLAR, IDMR, IDAR, IWMR.
23 years old/1 year for vehicles in groups ILMR, ILAR, IVMR, SDMR, SDAR.
25 years old/3 years for vehicles in other groups.
A Young Driver Surcharge of 24.00 EUR per rental applies for drivers under 23 years.
Conditions of Payment
Flexible rate
We accept all credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies such
as American Express, Diners Club,
Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.
Visa Electron and Master Card Debit are accepted only for renting MBMR, MCMR and ECMR car groups.
All other prepaid and debit cards as well as cash payment is only accepted for payment at the end of the rental.
For MPI-Auto CarExpress cards the above rules are valid.
Prepaid Tariff
The following credit cards are accepted: Eurocard/Mastercard, AmericanExpress Card, VISA Card, Diners Card. We do not accept any
prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron).
The renter must be the owner of the indicated creditcard. Theauthorised driver details and method of payment will be confirmed at reservation
stage and cannot be amended. The confirmed credit card should be valid and available for presentation on collection ofthe vehicle. All extra
costs that occur during the car rental will be charged to this credit card.
By booking of a prepaid rate, the credit card will be charged before the startof rental, directly with the estimated total amount of rental. The
amount that will be charged on your credit card comprises the price of rental as well as all additional extra fees.
The rental charge(plus any other charges agreed such as, e.g. exemptions from liability, delivery charges, airport charges etc.) plus value
added tax in the statutory amount applicable from time to time must, as a matter of principle, be paid in full for the agreed rental period, i.e. if the
vehicle is collected late or returned early there shall be no refund.
Generally
Vehicles can only be hired with a credit card accepted by MPI-Auto or a MPI-Auto credit/identification means.
To hire one of the following vehicles, customers must present two credit cards: LDAR, XFAR.
Two credit card deposits/authorizations will be obtained to the chosen means of payment as a security. The first deposit/authorization is a sum
of the amount of the responsibility for the rented vehicle. The second deposit/authorization is a sum of the rental charges plus one fuel tank.
The deposit/authorization for highvalue
vehicles may differ. The exact deposit/authorization is determined on collection since the amount is
dependent on the vehicle.
Please note, that payments with credit card may require the PIN of the credit card.
General Protection Conditions
Third Party Insurance (TI)
Protection coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a unlimited cover for personal injuries and material damages.
Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All protection as part of the rental contract will
become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's
license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver removes the drivers responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of damage.
If CDW is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of the car.
If CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
450.00 EUR (MCMR, MBMR);
600.00 EUR (ECMR, EDMR, EDAR, CDMR, CDAR, CLMR, CLAR, CCCC, IDMR, IDAR, IWMR, ILMR, ILAR, IVMR, IFMR);
840.00 EUR (ILAR, IFAR, SDMR, SDAR, SFMR, SFAR, SVMR, SVAR, FDMR, FDAR);
1,200.00 EUR (ITAR, PDAR, LDAR, FVMR);
1,440.00 EUR (XFAR).

Top Cover CDW
If CDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Top Cover CDW to eliminate the NonWaiverable
Responsibility.

Theft Protection (TP)
Theft Protection removes the drivers responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of theft.
If TP is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of the car.
If TP is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:

Top Cover TP
If TP is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Top Cover TP to reduce the NonWaiverable
Responsibility.

If Top Cover TP is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: 0.00 EUR
Tyre and Windscreen Coverage (TG)
Tyre and Windscreen Coverage provides cover against the consequences of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and backwindow.
The cost of TG is as follows: see table
If TG is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and backwindow.
If TG is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: 0.00 EUR.
Personal Accident Protection (PAP)
PAP is not available in Bulgaria.
Roadside Protection (BC)
Our Roadside Protection is your extended breakdown protection and protects you during your rental for the following incidents caused by you:
1) Key locked in vehicle: In the event of the key being locked inside the vehicle, MPI-Auto shall assume the costs for the vehicle to be opened by the
vehicle manufacturer or one of its partners and for a replacement vehicle.
2) Breaking caused by lack or loaded wrong type of fuel: In the event of a breakdown due to having run out or loaded wrong type of fuel , MPI-Auto
shall assume the costs for breakdown assistance and fuel required for the onward journey.
3) Assistance with starting necessitated by flat battery: In the event of assistance with starting being needed, MPI-Auto shall assume the costs for
assistance by the vehicle manufacturer or one of its partners.
4) Loss of key: In the event of a lost key, MPI-Auto shall assume the costs for providing a spare key, the transport/shipping of the spare key and for
a replacement vehicle.
In case Roadside protection is not accepted following administrative expenses for providing road assistance will apply to your Rental
agreement:
25.00 EUR for Sofia, Bourgas and Varna districts together with all vehicle repair expenses.
25.00 EUR and extra 0.50 EUR per each kilometer outside mentioned above limits of districts together with all vehicle repair expenses.
Maximum time for reaction: 24 hours after the claim.
All services may only be ordered by a direct claim to Sofia Airport 24 hours hotline.
Breakdown issues should be described in details in order to be provide the relevant assistance service.
If any damage occurs during the rental, different of the mentioned above included in Roadside protection package, the renter is liable for such
damage.
Roadside protection and assistance conditions are not valid and applicable outside Bulgarian borders.

Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions
Cross Border Rentals are with charge and on request only. Please contact the local rental station.
Cross Border Rentals are only permitted into following countries: Greece, Romania, Serbia, Macedonia.
A foreign use charge of 72.00 EUR (Greece, Romania) / 96.00 EUR (Serbia, Macedonia) per rental applies.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.

Premium Location Fee
A Premium Location Fee of 15% on the basis nonreduced
rental rate (T&M) occurs for rentals at airports, train stations and downtown
premium hotels.
Road Tax
A Road Tax of EUR 1.20 per day occurs.

Winter package
A fee of 6.00 EUR per day (max. 60.00 EUR per rental) occurs for rentals between November 1 and February 28. It includes amongst others
winter tyres and ice scraper.
Additional Driver
An Additional Driver Surcharge of 4.80 EUR per day (max. 24.00 EUR) applies.
Driver Service
By choosing the driver service a MPI-Auto driver will be supplied for 9 consecutive hours per day in the business hours. Additional hours and
services outside business hours are available at the local branch. The customer remains liable for the condition of the vehicle except when the
vehicle is physically moved by the MPI-Auto driver.
Driver services are available within respective city limits and any trip outside the city limits will need to be coordinated with the MPI-Auto location in
advance. Additional charges for leaving the citylimits may arise and will be charged extra locally. Please contact the local branch for more
information.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited.
All Bulgarian MPI-Auto cars are nonsmoking
cars.

Vehicle Cleaning
In case the car requires a special cleaning procedure (i.e. smell removal, animal pollution, spill of liquids, sand etc.) after returning, a minimum
charge of 100.00 EUR will apply.
Refuelling Charge
All vehilces are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to MPI-Auto, otherwise our current refuelling charges will apply.
Alternatively, you may purchase a tankful of fuel at the time of rental at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations and return the tank
empty. No refunds will be given for unused fuel.
All rates include tax/VAT (if incurred).
For corporate customers with individual agreements alternative prices and regulations can apply.
